I was bored and restless one Sunday night, so I decided to see if this guy I’d been chatting with online was free for a drink. He was, and we arranged to meet at Cafe Retro where we proceeded to have one of the best dates either of us had ever had, talking about everything from mythology to cat videos and everything in between. After 10 minutes he asked me on a second date for the following night (which, incidentally, was one of the worst dates either of us had ever had). And the rest is history (spoiler alert, I married him).
