Absinthe: I adore the ritual, the history, and the mythology. Hate the fucking taste🤣
Working on…
Still working on my sculptural text-based art collection Things Men Have Said To Me Instead Of Hello - I’m halfway through and I think I’m ready to start sharing…
The Send Nudes zine - first proofs came back from the printer and they’re bad. Trying a different approach.
Tending my digital garden i.e. this site. I love it here, and I’m having enormous fun going back through my personal archives and adding previously unseen layers to my story.
Season 2 of the Zuzu’s Haus of Cat Presents… podcast has begun! I’m still interviewing and editing behind the scenes but we kicked off in earnest with Andrea Schroeder on self-trust.
Thinking about…
The constant tension between socialising and solitude (too much of either makes me sad, although I have a much higher tolerance for solitude).
Self-sabotage in the form of overscheduling and capacity optimism.
Wishing that absinthe tasted nicer because everything else about it is so cool.

Your Brain on Art: How The Arts Transform Us by Ivy Ross and Susan Magsame
I cannot stop nerding out about the neurological and biological effects of art on the body - it blows my mind but also seems completely obvious at the same time. Pure magic.
Watching…
Brian and Charles - one of the best movies about oddness and making things and friendship and love I’ve ever seen. Don’t miss it.
Listening to…
This is such a fascinating, thoughtful, and in-depth docuseries covering everything from the witch trials, to hags in fairytales, to modern expressions of witchcraft. I’ll return to this one often, I think.
