Conversations that heal, connect, and inspire
This November I’m speaking at a very special event - The Master Communicator Series!
The Master Communicator Series is a free event hosted by Kimberly Howitt - a multi-Emmy–nominated producer, and Celestina Villanueva - a strategic facilitator and insights leader.
They created this event because they’ve seen how conversations can break trust or build it, fracture a relationship or heal it, win opportunities or lose them. And too often, people enter those moments unprepared.
If you've been in my orbit for any length of time you'll know how passionate I am about both connection and community, and learning how to be a good communicator is crucial for both.
Good communication can help you build trust and forge deep connections with the people around you; become a more effective activist; feel seen and heard when you speak; and stay grounded in high-pressure situations such as navigating conflict.
In my segment I'll be speaking about the unique challenges presented by communicating as a marginalised person - we'll cover things like vulnerability, unmasking, holding space for difficult truths, and speaking from the margins instead of about them.
The event runs from November 5th-7th, and other speakers include Suchin Pak (journalist/producer/podcaster), Carolyn Lovewell (author, Existential Kink), and Aya Caspi (global non-violent communications expert).
If you’ve ever avoided a hard conversation or walked away with regret, this series will change how you show up.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
