Interview: Ridiculously You
Here’s the episode description:
In this episode of The Ridiculously You Podcast, our host Julie May sits down with Elinor Trier, Artist & Founder, Zuzu's Haus of Cats, for a conversation that rips up the standard business blueprint and celebrates radical "otherness." Elinor, an AuDHD artist living as an off-duty glamour punk in conservative Denmark, digs into the messy parts of masking, chronic illness, and contorting into boxes just to fit someone else's idea of reality.
After leaving an abusive relationship and stepping fully into her alter ego, Zuzu, Elinor chose a total rebellion against shrinking. She quit traditional social media platforms, built her own labyrinthine website, and turned an art sale into a two-week scavenger hunt mystery. Julie May and Elinor explore how tuning into your own rhythms rather than fighting against them is the real secret to sustainable creativity. This conversation is proof that you do not have to edit the parts of yourself that make you magic to build a thriving life: because your true people simply cannot find you if you are hiding who you really are.
