Apart from the new vlog, I'm still working on the book of The Flourishing and of course, Things Men Have Said To Me Instead Of Hello. I'm so ready for this project to be done now. I have an exhibition date booked in at the MDS Gallery for Jan 30th so she's getting finished come hell or high water!
I'm away most of next week, but when I get back I have nothing on the deck except for this for two solid weeks. I'm on a mission.

How hard it can be to find your people. For years my community was almost exclusively online, and I had very few people in my local area, but now the balance seems to have tipped in the opposite direction. Obviously, I'm delighted to have people in my life whose feet I can see (IYKYK), but I do miss my online peeps too - I'm hoping to find/create new spaces/ways to connect.

I probably wouldn't have picked this up if my best friend hadn't recommended it to me, but I'm so glad I did. It's a weird book, and quite frustrating, but I really enjoyed it. It touches on all sorts of themes - sexuality, disability, friendship, trauma - but it felt very human and natural.
